On behalf of the organizers the 3rd International Scientific Conference Interdisciplinarity of Health and Healthcare,
we have the pleasure to invite you to the conference, which will take place on 15th-16th September 2022 in Clinical and Didactic Center of the Medical University of Lodz and it will have a hybrid form (onsite/online). The Faculty of Management at UW is a co-organizer of the conference.
This will be the third Conference dedicated to the results of interdisciplinary research in health and healthcare. The 2nd edition of the conference was on July 6-7, 2020 at Faculty of Managemnt at University of Warsaw and the next one, in 2024, will also at FoM.
The aim of this Conference is building the new quality and effectiveness of education and management especially in the healthcare area.
The theme of the first day of this year's Conference (09/15/2022) will be medical and economic risk in healthcare of sudden change while on the second day (09/16/2022) we would like to focus on good practices in management, risk and education in the health care system in the period of changes caused by the Sars-Cov-2 pandemic.
During the second day of the Conference, students of doctoral studies for healthcare managers will present the results of their four-year research work. The studies are implemented as part of the InterDoktorMen Project Building new quality and effectiveness of education in the formula of doctorate studies for healthcare managers at the Health Sciences Faculty at the Medical University in Łódź.

Dear Students,
we kindly inform you that as part of the cooperation between the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw and Santander Bank Polska, a special scholarship programme has been created for FoM students. The founders’ intention is to reward students of the Faculty of Management for their involvement in initiatives at the University of Warsaw, social activity and for outstanding achievements in science and non-university activities.
UW employees and doctoral candidates can undergo free of charge COVID-19 RT-PCR tests. Taking swabs will begin on 26th October and last until 20th November. Employees and doctoral candidates have an opportunity to sign up for COVID-19 RT-PCR tests that detect active SARS-COV-2 infection.

Welcome Point – an information service point for international students who start their education at UW – organises, together with the Association for Legal Intervention specialists, an online meeting on the legalisation of stay in Poland. During the meeting, the following issues will be discussed:
The Volunteer Centre of the University of Warsaw organises five online multicultural meetings on the Polish culture, covering interesting facts regarding music, movies, celebrations and customs. To participate, one is requested to register by 19th October.
Soon the UW rector’s election for the 2020-2024 term will be held. On 21st May, the University Electoral Committee registered three candidates. On 25th May at 16:00, the candidates will present their programmes and answer questions, during the online pre-election meeting with members of the UW academic community.
