I am a PhD candidate and a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Banking and Financial Markets, University of Warsaw Faculty of Management.

 

At University of Warsaw, I teach Banking, Financial system and Central banking courses for both undergraduate and graduate students. My PhD supervisor is dr hab. Prof. Małgorzata Olszak.

 

Education and Research experience

 

Since 2019: Chairman of the Council of Edward Lipiński Foundation for promoting economic pluralism.

2019 - 2020: Analyst and researcher at Domestic Operations Department (DOK) of National Bank of Poland.

2017 - 2018: Visiting PhD student at SOM Research Institute of the University of Groningen (RUG). Research supervisor: Prof. Jakob de Haan - Head of research at De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB). Research project: "Does public money creation crowds out private money creation in the euro area?"

Since 2016: PhD student and Teaching Assistant at the Department of Banking and Financial Markets, University of Warsaw.

2016: Research assistant in Bureau of Monetary Policy Strategy at the National Bank of Poland’s (NBP) Economic Institute.

2016: MSc in Econometrics and IT from Faculty of Economic Sciences, University of Warsaw.

2015 - 2016: Exchange student in Economics at Maastricht University, School of Business and Economics.

2014: Two BA degrees summa cum laude: in Economics and in Management - both from University of Warsaw.

2017: First award in the X Edition of the President of National Bank of Poland Competition for the best Master Thesis in Economic Sciences defended in 2016. The thesis is entitled “Measuring Asymmetric Information in Economics – theoretical background and the model based on Principal Components Analysis”. My thesis and research supervisor: Prof. Ryszard Kokoszczyński - Member of NBP Management Board and a former Vice President of NBP.
